Problem statement: more than 54% of consumers said finding a doctor is difficult Across generations, digital healthcare interactions are increasingly important How might we improve the accuracy of healthcare information to help consumers find a doctor in network Hypothesis statement with belief and validation criteria Methodology: qualitative and quantitative research, primary research, and secondary market research Participant criteria: working age 22 to 60, living in the US, insured, recently searched for a provider Interview findings on accuracy with participant insight cards Interview findings continued: convenience and affordability Persona: Raquel Fischer, financial strategist in New York Fifty user stories synthesized into three epics, with finding an in-network doctor as the core epic Task flow for finding in-network medical providers Exploratory sketches of the provider category, directory, and detail screens Solution sketches of the refined screens User test plan User testing goal and task completion table across five users User testing callouts: merging filter and sort into one control Refined screens showing distance-sorted results and clearer virtual versus in-person booking
